About: 

A Professor in the Civil Engineering Department, Editor in Chief of the Editorial Board of the Iraqi Journal of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering-University of Anbar. He is engaged in consultation works on many construction projects. He has published more than 65 papers in scientific journals and international conferences.

Dr. Abdulkader I. Al-Hadithi is a Professor in Civil Engineering Department,

College of Engineering – University of Anbar. President of (American Concrete Institute – Iraq Chapter) ACI- Iraq Chapter (2023). Having graduated from Basrah University, Basrah, Iraq, he obtained his M.Sc. from the University of Anbar, Ramadi, Anbar, Iraq, and his Ph.D. from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. Member of the Editorial Board of the Iraqi Journal of Civil Engineering, Editorial Board of Engineering and Technology Journal(2023), and Editorial Board of other Engineering journals. Member of Advisory Board of Journal of Civil Engineering Science and Technology (JCEST), (eISSN 2462-1382). (UNIMAS) UNIVERSITI MALASYA SAWRAK since 2016.

He is engaged in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Civil Engineering Department, consultant engineer in many construction projects, and is active in research. Dr. Abdulkader I. Al-Hadithi has published more than 80 papers in scientific journals and international conferences.  His principal research interests lie in the Development of concrete materials and design, Special Concrete, and Sustainable Concrete. The professor supervised many Ph.D. and MSc Thesis at the University of Anbar, the University of Tikrit, UKM, USM, and the University of Baghdad.

He got a 4 Patents in the field of concrete technology as below :

1-Number: 3669, Patent Title: “Improving Some Mechanical Properties of Bottles”, Patent International Classification: E04C1/04.

2-Number: 5259, Patent Title:” Improving Shear Strength of Reinforced Concrete  Beams by Adding Waste Plastic Fibers and Replacing the Steel Stirrups by CFRP Strips “, Patent International Classification: E04C3/02.

3- Number: 6537, Patent Title: “Enhancement of Mechanical Properties of Modified Foamed Concrete by Adding Waste Plastic Fibers”, Patent International Classification: E04B18/22.

Prof.Dr. Abdulkader Al-Hadithi was awarded Creativity and Innovation Award in the Field of Engineering from the Republic of Iraq – Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research. May-2014. President’s Award for the first professor in the scientific discipline at the University of Anbar for the year (2021). College of Engineering Dean’s Award for the first professor at College of Engineering- University of Anbar (2021). NISA Award for Outstanding Iraqi Research – 2019 Award Winners/ Best Paper in Engineering and Technology. Golden Medal from International Conference of Egypt Cooperation of Egyptian Inventors Syndicate “Egypt Invents 2017”. Silver Medal Certificate from 9th International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME) in Class D of  Inventions-KUWAIT SCIENCE CLUB- KUWAIT. Medal for scientific excellence/ University of Anbar(2016). College of Engineering Dean’s Award for the first professor at College of Engineering- University of Anbar (2021). President’s Award for the first professor in the scientific discipline at the University of Anbar for the year (2021)
